Typhon or Typhoeus was a monster in Greek mythology. His parents were Gaia and Tartarus.
The creature had many dragon heads, human body, and snake heads on his shoulders. Typhoeus was the father of different mythical monsters, such as: Chimera, Nemean Lion, Lernaean Hydra, and etc. Heracles killed some of them.
Typhoeus was mentioned in the legends. He met with Zeus and other characters. There are many paintings of this creature.
