Nereid.

The Nereids (Νηρηίδες) were sea nymphs in Ancient Greece. Their parents were Nereus and Doris. They had a brother named Nerites.

The sea nymphs are fifty sisters. The Nereids looked like mermaids. Some of them had relationships with other gods and goddesses.

Artists painted many paintings about these creatures. Also, sculptors created statues of the sea nymphs.
