Ixion.

Ixion (Ἰξίων) (Ἰξίονος) was a king of the Lapiths (Λαπίθαι) (Λαπίθης) (Lapithai) in Greek myths and legends. His parents were Phlegyas (Φλεγύας) and Perimele (Περιμήλη). Also, Ixion was the ancestor of the centaurs (Κένταυρος) (kéntauros) (centaurus).

Dia (Δία) was his wife. They had children.

Ixion was dishonest. But Zeus granted him purification.

Ixion was in love with Hera (Ἥρα) (Hḗrā) (Ἥρη) (Hḗrē). But instead of her gods and goddesses gave him Nephela (Νεφέλη).

Then Ixion told people about his relationship with the wife of Zeus.

At the end Ixion was tied to a spinning wheel and sent to the underworld (Tartarus).

There are many pieces of art about this story.
