Ludwig van Beethoven was born on December 1, 1770, in Bonn, Westphalia. He was the son of Johan van Beethoven and Maria Magdalena Keverich.
Since childhood future composer played different musical instruments, including piano and violin.
Beethoven studied and worked in Vienna. During this time he wrote famous classical music compositions. "Fur Elise", Moonlight Sonata, and Symphony No. 5 became very popular in music. Many of Ludwig van Beethoven's works were played on different musical instruments.
Composer taught other people, too. Beethoven died on March 26, 1827, in Vienna, Austrian Empire.
