Selene (Σελήνη) or Mene (Μήνη) was a goddess of the Moon in Greek myths and legends. Her symbols were: crescent, Moon, and chariot.
Hypherion (Ὑπερίων) and Theia (Θεία), or Pallas were Selene's parents. Helios and Eos were her siblings.
Selene was a Titaness.
She identified with other goddesses.
Endymion (Ἐνδυμίωνος) was Selene's consort. They have fifty daughters. Also, Selene was the mother of four Horae, Pandia, Ersa, and Musaeus.
