Sisyphus.

Sisyphus (Σίσυφος) (Sísyphos) was a king of Corinth (Ephyra) in Greek myths and legends. Aelous (Αἴολος) was his father and Enarete (Ἐναρέτη) was his mother. Also, Sisyphus had sibling, wives, and children.

He met with other gods and goddesses.

After the death, Sisyphus rolled a heavy stone up a mountain in Tartarus (Τάρταρος). The stone rolled down. Therefore, sometimes hard and pointless work is called "Sisyphean".

There are many different pieces of art about this story.
