Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was born on October 16, 1854 in the capital of Ireland, Dublin. He was the second child of Sir William and Jane Wilde.
In early childhood Oscar studied French and German languages. He had talent for reading and writing. Also, Oscar Wilde successfully finished school.
After he got his education in Trinity College in Dublin and Magdalen College in Oxford. Wilde wrote different literature genres: short story, novel, drama, and fairy tale. Famous works: The Picture of Dorian Gray (1891) and The Happy Prince and Other Tales (1888).
On May 29, 1884, Oscar Wilde married Constance Lloyd. Spouses had two sons, Cyril and Vyvyan.
Oscar Wilde was sent to prison from May 25, 1895 to May 19, 1897. For his own beliefs.
Writer died on November 30, 1900 in Paris, France.
