Tales from childhood: My diary.

Dear diary, I want to share with you my joyful events and problems.

Today is very important day. I finally figured out what my favorite color is. Red!

Nice to meet you! I'm a nice year old girl. I live with my mother and twin sisters. Also, I study in public school.

But sometimes I have conflicts of interests with my siblings. It's probably competition. We decided our problems with different things.

I noticed that I often lose in arguments and my mother says that I haven't moral principles.

Once, back in first grade, I told my family about a conflict with my classmates.

"You shouldn't fight back. Just be patient and that's it,: my mom said sternly.

I took note of this.

Here is my story, a personal diary.

Tales from childhood: A trip to an amusement park.

Hi, dear readers! My name is H. I'm a man from another short story called "How I look at life". Do you remember this story? Even if you don't remember, it's normal.

Today my family and I will go to the big city by bus, and then we will ride the metro.

But our main goal is the amusement park. We will all ride the Ferris wheel there. My son wants to ride the carousel and jump on the trampoline. Child needs to have a good time!

"Dear, we're already there" my wife said.

We left the metro and walked down the street. I admire this place and joke about it. My wife likes it.

The day will soon be over. We rode the Ferris wheel. It was awesome! I remembered my youth when I often rode on amusement rides.

My little son has been everywhere and he liked it.

Jim is a cop. He met his old friend Bob. They were in this place twenty years ago.

Bob was on the West. He had a career there. Also, Bob became the criminal and the police are looking for him.

The friends talked to each other. They discussed how their lives had changed during this time.

At the end, Bob is arrested by another police officer, and Jim gives his friend a letter. There he explained to his friend Bob that Jim couldn't arrest him himself.

Tales from childhood: Did I do the right thing?

"You must leave him! You're a young and beautiful woman, and your husband has become ugly! Such a person can ruin your whole life!" some woman in the city center said.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Timothy's ex-wife. The same "man without face" the rest isn't so important.

It's just that society put a lot of pressure on me. Everyone around me said that a woman and a small child shouldn't be with such a man. So, I decided to leave Timothy together with our daughter.

"You did the right thing. Timothy must live somewhere in the forest far from people." my neighbor said.

Also, I once overheard Mrs. Anne's conversation and she said that I was a traitor! I had to accept Timothy as he is and teach the child this. But that's it! There isn't longer such an opportunity!

"Your wife acted very meanly with you. She can't just up and leave!" Mrs. Anne told Timothy.

Well, please tell me, what should I have done?!

Tales from childhood: A home for a family.

Hi! I'm Mr. Theodor. Yes, I again speak with you.

My father left me an inheritance. Now I use it for my children. We have several houses in different places.

The mother of my children died under unclear circumstances. Beth and Johnny were still little then. Unfortunately, this is what happened. They know about it.

"We are family!" I told people many years ago.

Although some people still don't understand me. These things aren't important for me.

Tales from childhood: Village of my yoth.

Hi, dear different readers! I'm Mrs. Anne's friend. I'm an old woman, too. Also, I have two handsome grandsons.

My childhood was spent in the village. I remember there were a lot of cattle in this place. I worked a lot in the field.

By the way, some people think I'm weird because sometimes I start making jokes or telling stories from my life.

"Good morning!" a neighbor's child told me.

"Good morning, kid!" I said.

Now I've been living in our city for over twenty years. I remember how some girl with auburn hair and green eyes was watching her younger twin sisters. They were still young then.

Raymond's friend is my friend. I know his whole family well.

Tales from childhood: Our city.

Hello, dear readers! I'm a simple inhabitant of the city. I'm a local old man. I have lived here for a long time, so I know some secrets.

"This woman is very beautiful!" someone said.

Lady in red is a famous actress. She played in many different movies. Also, newspapers and magazines write about this woman.

I remembered how lady in red visited places in our city. I saw her during late evening in a restaurant.

"What does she do at work?" Sophie asked her grandmother.

"She is a muse for artists." granny answered.

I know that she recently became seriously ill. Now the woman in red often goes to doctors.

Parable: The Hospital Window.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation..

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man could not hear the band — he could see it in his mind’s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, “Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.”

Tales from childhood: My position.

Good evening, everyone! I'm Mrs. Anne. I often walk in a playground. My daughter and grandson walk there, too.

I'm already an old woman, so I often worry about my grandson when he runs somewhere or climbs a tree.

"Look where our boy went," I once said to my daughter.

"Mom, don't worry so much. He plays with other boys," she said.

I may be very nervous sometimes, but my grandson is an active child.

There was a case when he went onto the road and my daughter immediately took my grandson from there.

Also, I was worried about Timothy when he got into a trouble. For a while, the young man literally 'had no face'. But all the problems were resolved as I hoped.

Tales from childhood: Ordinary young man.

Nice to meet you, dear readers! My name is Jack. I'm an ordinary guy. I'm Beth's age. I'm being raised by my grandparents.

"You're a wonderful grandson!" my grandmother said.

I have been going to the forest with my grandfather since early childhood. There we pick berries. My granddad knows forest plants.

Now we go out less often because I'm already a student.

Tales from childhood: Our help for friend.

"I like talking with you," I told him.

"Natalie, thank you very much for supporting me," Timothy said.

I decided to talk with the young man when he wanted. My friend Sophie decided to support Timothy, too.

He is a real person, but no everyone believes in it.

Timothy had some difficulties a few years ago, then the problems were resolved. The young man was helped by his friends.

Tales from childhood: How I look at life.

Good evening, everyone! I'm a friend of Raymond's family. I want to tell you about my views.

I'm a positive person. That's what my wife says. If you succeed, then it's good. And if not, then you didn't really want it. Maybe you can do these things next time.

Also, of someone speaks badly about you, don't be upset, because if people call you that, it's they who call you that.

I immediately forget about such trifles. And I advise others to do the same.

"Yes, that's how it should be!" my child said.

"What is this?" Natalie asked Angela, when she saw her bruises.

"It's all my fault." she said.
