Childhood-is when your mood doesn't depend on the weather outside, news on TV, and food in refrigerator.

Childhood-is when you have teddy bear which bigger than you.

Childhood-is when your parents taller than you.

Childhood-is when you like restaurant and purchase food more than homemade. Especially, sweets, ice cream, chocolate, and sweets,

Childhood-is when you don't wear warm clothes in cold weather.

Childhood-is when you believe in each word of your parents.

Childhood-is when you afraid of goasts.

Childhood-is when you think that stork brings the babies.

Childhood-is when your friends more important for you than your family.

Childhood-is when you don't want to go sleep at evening and don't want to wake up in morning.

Childhood-is when you worry about great holidays.

Mother's Day.

On the secomd Sunday of May (10 May this year), in the USA, Mother's Day is celebrated. In shops, appear many different types of presents for important women. Flowers, cards, and other souvenirs.

On this holiday you can make it pleasant for mother. Example, cook a breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper, clean the house or apartment, wash the dishes. For this present, any Mom would be pleased.

Nonetheless, it is important to know and remember to be kind every day, not just during the holidays. So, Mommy will be glad very often.

Other countries also celebrate Mother's Day, but in other dates. Example in Russia this holiday celebrates on March 8 and called International Women's Day. Usually children at school make beautiful cards, read poetry about mothers, sing songs. On the streets good weather, spring.

But whatever day you are celebrating all always must love their Moms no matter how she looks like. Love and appreciate your favourite Moms!

"Chicago and First May Day."

May day as the international day of labour was born in Chicago in 1886 year.

City is the largest industrial centre, a port on the Great Lakes and a railway station. Chicago was the centre of class wars at the end of nineteenth century.

As other large American cities, there are two different parts in Chicago: first, the skyscrapers and the second, rich houses on the bank of Lake Michigan.

The struggle for the eight-hours working day began in the USA in the 1860s and countinued about thirsty years. This struggle was very important for american's and other workers, because people had to work lots of hours a day.

On May First, 1886, Chicago became the centre of the fight for the eight-hour working day. 400,000 people went on strike. Six of them were killed by the police.

On fourth May at the meeting, suddenly somebody threw a bomb. Seven policemen and four workers were killed. Eight worker's leaders were arrested. Later four of them were hanged.

After that accident the American trade unions decided, in 1890 year, to organize May Day demonstration every year.
