Literature. Part forty five.

                                    The Last of the Mochicans by James Fenimore Cooper.

This historic novel was published in 1826. This story takes in XVIII century, in Province of New York.

The book described life of Native Americans during French and Indian War. Chingachgook was the last chief of the tribe. Character is a kind man.

Different things happened in the novel: friendship and enmity, Chingachgook's son Uncas died.

Famous book was translated to many languages, artists drew paintings to this novel. Also, there are many movies and cartoons about this story.
