                                                 Little Lord Fautleroy by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

This novel was the writer's first book.

Cedric lives with his mother. His father died.

Dick is a bootblack and Cedric's friend. Grocer Mr. Hobbs is his friend, too.

Suddenly it became known that Cedric had become the Earl's heir.

There are different movies and cartoons about these characters.

 Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett was born on November 14, 1849, in England. 

She wrote famous children’s books, such as: A Little Princess (1905), The Secret Garden (1911), Robin (1922), and etc.

Burnett was married and had two children.

Frances Hodgson Burnett died on October 29, 1924, in the USA.

             A Little Princess by Frances Hodson Burnett.

Sara Crew is a seven-year-old girl who learns at school for girls. Her father Captain Crew was a wealthy person. School mistress is Miss Minchin. At the beginning she treated Sara well. But when Captain Crew died she sent a little girl to live in the attic.

A little princess was very shy in school. She has many difficulties. Despite it all Sara Crew remained kind and generous. Some girls were good friends for her.

At the end she found her rich relatives and became happy and wealth. She acquired the family.
