Tales from childhood: A pretty stranger.

"Children grow up very fast. We met you when you studied in the 1st grade, now you are in the fourth grade," the neighbor said.

Sophie understood her words. She really grew up. The girl became serious. Sophie didn't argue with the little children. Also, she knew that children grow up and become adults. But for parents we were always little. Grandma often talked about this, too.

School teacher had two young sons. They graduated college and worked. Some of the children in the class recognized these men easily. Teacher talked with them by phone.

Little Sophie noticed that the oldest son talked about young woman. Other children were inerested, too. Johnny wanted to see her.

So, on Friday Sophie and Johnny saw teacher's son. He walked in the yard behind the school. Next to him was a girl. She was a slim brunette. Her nose was straight, eyes were big. Little Johnny said that she was a beautiful lady. Sophie agreed with him.

At the end of the school year teacher said that this young woman was from the southern city. Also, she appeared in the park. She had a strange style in clothes.

"I think that she is a nice woman," said Johnny to Mr. Theodor.

"In the world there are many pretty people," said his father.

Sophie saw how teacher's son and that strange woman held hadns. Over time people saw how they kissed and hugged each other.
