Age of Enlightenment was an important time in history. It was in XVII and XVIII centuries.

During the Enlightenment era, science and philosophy actively developed in culture.

Rene Descartes, Francis Bacon, John Locke, and Immanuel Kant were philosophers of that time.

Discoveries were made in biology, physics, and chemistry.

Great people: Immanuel Kant.

Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher. He was born on April 22, 1724, in Prussia. Kant’s parents were Johann Georg Kant and Anna Regina Reuter.

His interests were: ethics, metaphysics, cosmogony, and epistemology.



Immanuel Kant studied in university.




He influenced many different philosophers.

Kant died on February 12, 1804, in Prussia.
