Literature. Part thirty nine.

                                                 "Thumbelina" by Hans Chistian Andersen.

Once upon a time, there was a woman who had no children. So, she decided to go to a witch. She gave the woman a seed.

Several days later the flower grew. It turned into a girl. Woman gave things for Thumbelina. They were happy!

But one night a toad stole a child. She wanted Thumbelina to marry her son. Little Thumbelina cried. She didn't want to marry. Kind fishes and butterflies helped Thumbelina run away.

Suddenly her saw a beetle. He took Thumbelina. When they appeared in the beetle's community... poor girl didn't like anyone.

So, Thumbelina lived in the forest until winter. Afterwards, a mouse sheltered her. She wanted to marry Thumbelina to a mole. Meanwhile little girl cared for a swallow.

At the wedding day Thumbelina and swallow ran away. She married an elf. They lived together.
