                                           The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway.

Santiago is an old man. He is a fisherman. Santiago tried to catch fish every day. This went on for eighty four days. He couldn't catch fish in the sea.

Many people thought that Santiago was an unlucky fisherman, expect for a young boy named Manolin, who helped him. Santiago and Manolin became friends.

The fisherman meets with various difficulties and problems. Manolin always supported Santiago. The old man solved his own problems.

On the eighty-fifth day, Santiago caught a large marlin fish. But the sharks ate this fish.

Little Manolin worried for Santiago.

At the end, they were going to fish together.

This novel was translated to many languages. The book had different awards. There are movies and cartoons about this story.

                                       "The Fisherman and His Wife" by the Brothers Grimm.

There was one upon a time a fisherman and his wife. They were living in a dirty house.

One day the fisherman found a fairy fish. It was an enchanted prince. He let this fish go.

But his wife became angry. She wanted to have a comfortable cottage. 

So, her husband visited the fairy fish again. The fisherman saw his wife in a new house.

Later she wanted to have a castle. The fisherman went to the sea and asked  the enchanted prince about a castle.

The fairy fish fulfilled this wish. Because he saw his wife in a beautiful castle.

Next day the fisherman's wife decided to become a king. She said it.

Her husband said it to a prince. So, she became a king.

One day the king saw a pope. She wanted to become a pope.

The fisherman asked the fairy fish. Husband saw his wife as a pope.

But this role was boring for the stupid woman. So, she wanted to become a lord.

The fisherman went to the seaside and saw dark clouds and worried sea. The prince sent him home.

The fisherman saw his wife in a dirty house.

This fairy tale was translated to different languages. There are many movies and cartoons about this story.

                                        "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" by Hans Christian Andersen.

A boy had a birthday gift, set of toy soldiers. One of them didn't have a leg. During the night all toys in the room became alive.

Soldier with one leg fell in love with paper dancer woman. But evil goblin didn't want for them love to each other. So, because of him the tin soldier fell out of the window.

His adventures started on the street. The boys found the soldier with one leg and set him in a paper boat. Afterwards, a storm started and the soldier met the rat.

At the end the tin soldier was swallowed by a fish. But he was found and returned to the room again.

The soldier with one leg fell in the fireplace. Paper woman flew in it, too. Sad end of the fairy tale.

This fairy tale was translated to many languages. There are many cartoons and illustrations about this story.

Literature. Part thirty nine.

                                                 "Thumbelina" by Hans Chistian Andersen.

Once upon a time, there was a woman who had no children. So, she decided to go to a witch. She gave the woman a seed.

Several days later the flower grew. It turned into a girl. Woman gave things for Thumbelina. They were happy!

But one night a toad stole a child. She wanted Thumbelina to marry her son. Little Thumbelina cried. She didn't want to marry. Kind fishes and butterflies helped Thumbelina run away.

Suddenly her saw a beetle. He took Thumbelina. When they appeared in the beetle's community... poor girl didn't like anyone.

So, Thumbelina lived in the forest until winter. Afterwards, a mouse sheltered her. She wanted to marry Thumbelina to a mole. Meanwhile little girl cared for a swallow.

At the wedding day Thumbelina and swallow ran away. She married an elf. They lived together.

Recipe of homemade salmon with onion and cheese.

Ingredients:

Fish-5 pieces (fresh or freeze)
Onion-1
Mayonnaise-3 table spoons
Lemon-1/2
Cheese-1 cup
Salt-1/2 tea spoon
Black pepper and Italian seasoning-1/3 tea spoon

Pepper, salt, and add Italian seasoning to the fish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and smear fish.

Chopped the onion rings. Fry it a little in vegetable oil. About two minutes.

Add one table spoon of vegetable oil to the baking form and put on the fish. After put on top of onion rings. (So, fish will be wet).

Heat up the oven until 425 F (218 C). Bake the fish covered in the oven about 30-35 minutes (315 F-176 C).

Eat with boiled potatoes or stewed vegetables.

Vitamins.

Vitamins and minerals are very important for human organism. Especially for little children who are growing. Vitamins stay in many different types of food. Example, fresh fruit and vegetables have many needed vitamins and minerals: iron, zinc, cobalt. Fish and meat also have needed vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin "D" is in fish fat, vitamin "K" is in green vegetables. So, human organism is in need of all types of food. But sometimes, some people have a power allergy on useful food. These people can eat other food where there is source of vitamins or minerals.

If person doesn't eat enough food where there are needed vitamins, he can get sick. Begin to exofoliate nails, hair fall out, headache. Especially at risk are people who sufferes from bulimia, If just exclude several vegetables then organism doesn't even feel it. Sometimes in useful food and beverage such as fish and milk, there aren't enough minerals. So vitamins can be bought in drugstore in pills.

All vitamins are named by Latin letters. Periodic table has vitamins and minerals and their chemical names. Example, Iron-Fe.
