Atalanta.

Atalanta (Ἀταλάντη) (Atalántē) was a heroine in Greek myths and legends. Her parents were Iasus (Ἴασος) and Clymene (Κλυμένη) (Kluménē).

Golden apple, bear, and lion were Atalalnta's symbols.

She was a good hunter. Also, Atalanta had the voyage with the Argonauts (Ἀργοναῦται) (Argonaûtai).

Meleager (Μελέαγρος) (Meléagros) was her consort. They had a son named Parthenopaeus (Παρθενοπαῖος) (Parthenopaîos).

Forest tundra.

Forest tundra is a transition zone between tundra and taiga.

Those natural landscapes are found in Eurasia and North America.

Also, forest tundra has its own flora and fauna. Pine and spruce trees grow there. Deer, wolves, and bears live in the forest tundra.

Literature. Part ninety six.

“Goldilocks and the Three Bears” by Robert Southey.

Once upon a time there was a family of three bears. Big father bear, middle-size mother bear, and a little baby bear.

They had a house in the forest.

In the morning this family decided to walk in the forest.

The girl named Goldilocks found their house in the forest.

Goldilocks used things in the house. She ate their food. Also, Goldilocks slept in their beds.

When the bears returned to their house they were angry. Goldilocks went through the window.

Mammals of Wyoming.

I wrote about birds of Wyoming. Now I write about mammals, another type of animals.

Sometimes I can see mammals on the streets. Example, the hares. In winter, traces of these animals are visible on snow. In Wyoming there are several types of hares. White-tailed Jackrabbit, Black-tailed Jackrabbit, Snowshoe Hare, Mountain Cottontail, Desert Cottontail, Eastern Cottontail. They are similar to each other.

Also in the state, live more big mammals, horses, Elks, Mooses, deer, Bisons, Goats. They are Herbivores. While walking I can see animals near the forest. Large herbivores are very beautiful!

Carvivores live in Wyoming, too. Bears, wolves, foxes, Long-tailed Weasels, Coyotes. But they are living in wild nature. Sometimes I can see them on TV.

P.S. I think that in our state has rich fauna.
