Tales from childhood: Did I do the right thing?

"You must leave him! You're a young and beautiful woman, and your husband has become ugly! Such a person can ruin your whole life!" some woman in the city center said.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Timothy's ex-wife. The same "man without face" the rest isn't so important.

It's just that society put a lot of pressure on me. Everyone around me said that a woman and a small child shouldn't be with such a man. So, I decided to leave Timothy together with our daughter.

"You did the right thing. Timothy must live somewhere in the forest far from people." my neighbor said.

Also, I once overheard Mrs. Anne's conversation and she said that I was a traitor! I had to accept Timothy as he is and teach the child this. But that's it! There isn't longer such an opportunity!

"Your wife acted very meanly with you. She can't just up and leave!" Mrs. Anne told Timothy.

Well, please tell me, what should I have done?!

"You're a wonderful grandson!" my grandmother said.

I have been going to the forest with my grandfather since early childhood. There we pick berries. My granddad knows forest plants.

Now we go out less often because I'm already a student.

Tales from childhood: Mushroom trip.

“Today we go to the forest to pick mushrooms and berries,” Lara’s grandfather said.

“Very good!” Sophie thought.

Many children have been waiting for this trip to the forest for a long time. Now that day has come.

Sophie and Natalie walked side by side and imagined how they would find mushrooms and berries there.

But then it turned out that people need to carefully look for the right mushrooms and berries. Not all fruits in the forest were edible.

“Also, there are different kinds of mushrooms,” grandfather said.

“This is how it turns out in reality!” Sophie said.

“Yes, we need to study how to find mushrooms and berries,” granddad said.

Sophie listened to what people said about things in the forest.

Also, many children from the group noticed that even just to get out of the forest, knowledge is needed.

Tales from childhood: Trip to a new forest.

Sophie and her granny decided to go to their neighboring town. It was a cool idea! This place had many things for them.

"We went to the forest in the town," grandmother said.

"I'm very glad about it!" little Sophie said.

It was quite interesting there, they explored new places in the forest. The forest in Sophie's town was different. But there were some similar things. The trees were of a different kind. The lake was quite far away. The birds sang as beautifully as in the forest of Sophie's town.

Also, Sophie and her grandmother met people from the town. They told them funny stories. Little Sophie and granny were laughing.

Then they said goodbye and went home.

"It's good that I met such people!" Sophie thought.

She wrote an essay about this trip.
