Tales from childhood: If there was magic in our world.

Hi! I'm Sophie. I want to tell you about my world.

What if we were all wizards? People would be able to do whatever they wanted.

"I want to get a magic wand now!" I say out loud.

The object immediately appears in my hands. And with the help of my magic wand, I continue my spell.

This way, I can improve some difficult situations. For example, when someone is arguing with someone else. Or if I want to get something quickly.

But these are all just dreams... As well as unicorns, mermaids, dragons, and fairies.

                                                                   "The Story of the False Prince" by Wilhelm Hauff.

Once upon a time there was a tailor named Labakan. He was a good worker.

Labakan had a travel companion named Omar. He was a real heir.

A fairy gave a tailor a magic thread and needle. Omar got a crown and scepter. These things were in the caskets.

So, Labakan became rich.

Literature. Part ninety two.

                                                     "The Nightingale" by Hans Christian Andersen.

Once upon a time there was a Chinese emperor. He had a palace. Also, this emperor had a huge garden. A nightingale lived in this garden, he sang very beautifully.

Everyone admired the singing of the nightingale and wrote about it. Then this bird sang for the emperor himself and he liked it.

Then an artificial nightingale appeared in the palace. Everyone began to listen to the new bird. Also, it sang beautifully, but after a while she stopped.

One day the emperor became very ill. He almost died. But a living nightingale flew to him and sang for the emperor. So, the bird saved him.

My own fairy tale.

The prince and princess lived in a large castle. Their house had a lot of beautiful rooms and amazing furnitures. Young lady loved it! Pink walls were so cute! Sometimes she remembered about her life in a tower. There were pink walls and curtains in princess's room in a tower.

Young spouses often visited different magical places. Fantasy forest with bright old fairies. Enormous oak was very big and strange. Kind wizard with long white beard appeared here. When he wanted to create his potion for good dids. Unicorns and their babies! Silver horns and rainbow tails... Nice view. Princess liked it! It was a good time for the couple. Also, wife and husband visited water places. Lakes with clean waves, beautiful mermaids lived there. But lady didn't like lake. She admired the forest and the creatures in it.

Fairies and elves lived in a castle, too. They helped the young woman. One of the fairies became princess's friend.

Once upon a time when prince wore his iron helmet, sword, and shell. Young man went to fight with fire dragons. They were dangerous creatures! On that day princess and fairy decided to go to old wise rose. They saw a long tower. In the garden was an old rose. Flower wasn't very bright. She said that to be a good spouse very difficult. Delicious food and clean house are important, too. Woman must be with man in different situations. They can be unusual. Princess remembered these words for long time.

Also, young lady and her friend found a newborn unicorn on the way. Fantasy creature was very nice. So, friends took this animal.

Princess thought about wise words all day. "Wife must be with her husband in different situations." She looked serious on that moment. Even old elf asked lady: "What's happened?"

In the evening prince returned at comfortable castle. Princess kissed and hugged her husband. She felt his warm. After they had a good time.

White horse and unicorn lived in the royal yard. Animals had different feelings to each other. Unicorn was little and needed care. Fairies and elves fed them good. But white horse was jealous about baby unicorn.

Prince loved his wofe very much. Princess reminded him of one of the fairies who cared for him as a child. Kind and beautiful woman.

Mermaids were other type of women. Prince saw them as a young man. He was glad that he met a princess.

Several years later pretty babies in the family appeared. They looked like angels! Prince and princess were happy! Spouses became parents.

It was a simple day for family. Young father go to work with a white horse. Princess and babies were at home. Mother cared for them. Prince didn't returned to the castle. Lady was very worried about her husband.

Witch and her cat, did magical things for prince. His white horse and helmet disappeared. Young father became weak and strange. His arms and legs had serious magical scars. It was horrible for family! Princess wanted to cry about this condition! Elves and fairies cared for ill prince.

Lady remembered words of wise rose about wife. She understood... And cried. After princess hugged her children and husband. Fairies admired their power of love! Some of them cried, too.

Young woman didn't leave her husband in a hard situation. It was important for all.

Wise rose said true about a good wife. Prince loved his children and cried with them. They supported father.

Husband and father passed away... Widow and children visited his grave in the forest. Princess cried, kind wizard listen her. He said about love. It's important feelings for our life.

My own poem.

Somewhere very far away,

Beautiful princess

Lived in a tower castle,

She had her own garden.

Princess loved red roses in the yard

Also, she waited for a prince on a white horse.

One day her old rose said: "You will be happy!"

Unicorn with a rainbow horn,

Played with young girl

In a tower and yard.

Suddenly damsel saw a prince in the castle

So, they arrived at another castle.

Princess became happy and met a fairy

She was stern but fair.

Legendary creature asked princess,

To take care for a white horse.

Young man wore a sword and helmet.

Prince fought with evil dragons,

Princess cared for a white horse

And with a fair visited old rose.

Literature. Part thirty three.

                                             The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.

Geppetto was a woodcarver. He had a piece of wood. Poor woodcarver decided to make a marionette named Pinocchio.

So, Mister Geppetto became a father of this marionette.

If Pinocchio told a lie his nose would grow. The magical fairy appeared in this book. He met a lot of friends and enemies during the novel.

Animals and people can talk to each other. The Talking Cricket, said many important things to Pinocchio.

At the end the main character became a real boy. There are many movies and cartoons about this story.

                             Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie.

Peter Pan is a boy who never wants to become an adult. He can fly. This boy is the leader of the Lost Boys on the island of Neverland. In this place there are pirates, fairies, and mermaids. Peter has his own fairy Tinker bell.

He is a friend with Wendy Darling. This girl has two younger brothers: John and Michael. Peter Pan's enemy Captain called James Hook.

The book describes the life of these children and fabulous creatures.

There are many cartoons, movies, and plays about these story.

                          Toads and Diamonds by Charles Perrault.

Once upon a time lived a widow who had two daughters. The eldest was so much like mother in the face and temper. They were both so proud and disagreeable.

The youngest daughter was very pretty and sweetness of behavior, and beautiful.

Also, this poor child was forced twice a day to draw water above a mile, bring home a pitcher full of it.

One day there came a poor old woman to girl, who begged her drink some water (She was a fairy). Child scoopfulled some water from fountain and give it to a poor woman.

Fairy said to girl: "At every word you speak, there shall come out of your mouth either flowers or jewels.

When the youngest daughter came home and began to speak with her mother roses and pearls came out of her mouth.

Mother and sister were very surprised of it. Girl said them all truth.

Then Mom wanted that her eldest daughter thave roses and jewels too.

So she sent her to the fountain. Bad girl went to it with silver tankard.

Some time later she saw a lady most beautiful dressed. Who coming of the wood to her and asked to drink.

Bad girl say rude things and didn't give water this woman.

When she arrived home and began to speak with mother, toads and snakes came out of girl's mouth.

Mother striked her youngest daughter.

The poor child fled away in the forest. There she met king's son-prince. She said him about herself. He fell-in-love with girl. After a time they were married.
