Pan.

Pan (Πάν) (Pán) was from Arcadia (Ἀρκαδία) (Arkadía) in Greek mythology. He was known as a god of nature, flocks, and shepherds. Pan's parents were: Hermes and Penelope.

Goat and pan flute were his symbols. 

Echo (Ἠχώ) (Ēkhō), Syrinx, and Pitys (Πίτυς) (Pítus) were Pan's consorts. Silenus (Σιληνός) (Sīlēnós), Iynx (Ἴυγξ) (Íynx), and Krotos (Κρότος) were his children.

Pan met with different characters.

Penelope.

Penelope (Πηνελόπεια) (Πηνελόπη) (Pēnelópeia) (Pēnelópē) was a wife of Odysseus and mother of Telemachus in Greek mythology.

Icarius (Ἰκάριος ) (Ikários) and Asterodia (Ἀστεροδεία) (Ἀστεροδία) were her parents.

Penelope waited patiently for her husband Odysseus when he was on his wanderings.

When Odysseus returned home, Penelope didn't recognize him. But then her husband himself proved that it was him.

Eurycleia.

Eurycleia (Εὐρύκλεια ) (Eurýkleia), or Antiphata (Ἀντιφάτη) (Antipháte), was an old nurse of Odysseus (Ὀδυσσεύς) (Ὀδυσεύς) (Odysseús) (Odyseús). Her father was Ops (Ὤψ) and grandfather Peinsenor (Πεισήνωρ).

Also, Eurycleia served his wife Penelope (Πηνελόπεια) (Πηνελόπη) (Pēnelópeia) (Pēnelópē) and son Telemachus (Τηλέμαχος) (Tēlemakhos). Odysseus took part in the Trojan War and was wandering.

She recognized him when Odysseus came home. Eurycleia noticed his old scar.

Odysseus.

Odysseus (Ὀδυσσεύς) (Ulysses) was a king of Ithaca in Greek mythology. His father was Laёrtes (Λαέρτης) and his mother was Anticlea (Ἀντίκλεια).

Odysseus participated in the Trojan War. He was one of the many participants in this event.

Palamedes (Παλαμήδης) was an enemy of Odysseus.

Also, Odysseus met with different characters.

Penelope (Πηνελόπεια) was his wife. They had several children.

There are many stories about Odysseus.

There is an epic poem named the Odyssey by Homer.
