"We must visit this party!" Sophie said.

"It's a good idea!" Natalie said.

Arthur Schopenhauer was known as a German philosopher. He was born on February 22, 1788, in Gdańsk, Poland. His parents were Heinrich Floris and Johanna Schopenhauer.

Arthur Schopenhauer studied in several universities.

He was interested in ethics, psychology, morality, metaphysics, and aesthetics.

Schopenhauer had his own ideas.

He died on September 21, 1860, in Frankfurt, Germany.

 Baruch Spinoza was a Dutch philosopher of Jewish origin. He was born on November 24, 1632, in Amsterdam.

Spinoza’s parents were Miguel Spinoza and Ana Débora.

His interests were metaphysics, Hebrew Bible, and ethics.

Baruch Spinoza had an education. He studied in Talmud Torah of Amsterdam and University of Leiden.

Also, Spinoza had his own ideas, such as: Spinozism, Spinoza’s theory of the emotions, Spinozistic ethics, and etc.

He died on February 21, 1677, in The Hague.

Great people: Socrates.

 Socrates (Σωκράτης) was a philosopher in Ancient Greece. He was born in 470 B. C., in Athens. His parents were Sophroniscus and Phaenarete.

Socrates studied ethics, too. His era was Ancient Greek philosophy. Plato (Πλάτων), Xenophon (Ξενοφῶν), and Aristippus (Ἀρίστιππος) were students of Socrates. 

Philosopher had his own ideas, such as: Socratic paradox, Socratic method, Socratic dialogue, and etc.

Socrates had wife and children.

He died in 399 B. C. in Athens.

Great people: Confucius.

Confucius was born in 551 B. C. in China. His father died when he was little.

Future philosopher married when he was nineteen. Confucius and his wife had several children.

He studied history and culture of Ancient China. Confucius had many interests and ideas, such as: moral philosophy, Golden Rule, and ethics. Also, the philosopher known for his aphorisms and quotes.

Confucius's philosophy was important for Ancient China. He influenced for study and politics of that period. Confucianism is part of world view.

Philosopher died in 479 B. C.

Recipe of salt dough for handmade:

Flour-1 cup
Salt-1 cup
Water-1 cup
Oil-5 table spoons

Mix all ingredients in one bowl. The dough should not stick to hands. Make figures. Width about 5 mm. Dry 50 C (122 F) about 3-4 hours. Use paints and glitters.
