Literature. Part hundred thirteen.

The Story of Little Muck by Wilhelm Hauff.

Little Muck was a little person. His father died.

Little Muck worked for an old woman. Then he left and took his shoes. These shoes were magical. They could transport the Little Muck wherever he wanted very quickly.

So, the Little Muck became the king’s runner. Then he was deprived of the magic shoes.

The Little Muck found two fig trees. If person ate figs from the first tree, then donkey ears would grow, but if person ate figs from the second tree, then donkey ears would disappear.

He changed his clothes and went to the palace. There Little Muck treated the king to figs and he became ugly.

The king hoped for a recovery, but Little Muck didn’t give him the healing figs. The Little Muck only took his magic shoes.

There are many different movies and cartoons about this fairy tale.

Fashion.

Fashion often changes. It doesn't stand still. Fashion influences many things of its time.

Colors, clothes, arts, make up, shoes, and even lifestyle are parts of the fashion. Building styles, such as: Baroque, Rococo, Gothic, and ect. These were popular fashion styles for their periods. But time is changing, fashion is changing, too.

During history people had different types of clothes. Also, climate and weather were influences for it. On was replaced by another.

Sometimes a fashion may come back. Old names. jewelry, or symbols can appear again. Different things affect fashion.

This industry continues today.

Why do I like fashion of the 1950s?

I like fashion of the 1950s because this period was very beautiful! There were many long skirts, dresses, hats, and gloves. Prints with polk dots and flowers were also popular. Fashion icons of that time wore ballet flats and heels.

Many of these clothes became classic for us. Famous women of that time such as: Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, and Audrey Hepburn did a lot for modern fashion.

I have several clothes and shoes from 1950s in my wardrobe.
