Tales from childhood: My first love.

Hello everyone! It's Timothy again. I want to tell you a story from my youth.

I was about 18 years old then. I fell in love with my teacher's daughter. This girl was only two months older than me. She had a very beautiful figure.

"Good morning!" I told her these words for the first time with a smile.

"Hello blondie!" she told me and waved her hand.

She might not even know my name, and I don't remember the name of my first love either.

I planned to meet her when all the adults had left and we could talk calmly. I was embarrassed then! She was the first girl I liked. She lived next room.

One day, completely by accident, I saw a girl through the crack in her room door... I saw her... I saw my first love sleeping. She was wearing only a nightgown.

I may have stood there for a few minutes, enjoying looking at my love. Then suddenly she turned around and I saw her true beauty.

"What are you doing here?" her friend asked me.

"Hm... I was just passing by," I answered with excitement.

Here my first love woke up and apparently already understood everything.

"How dare you!" she screamed.

Also, she slapped me on the left cheek, then on the right. Then I got a few more hard slaps.

"Serves you right, you deserve it!" said her friend.

That's how my first love ended. Several years later I moved out and married my now ex-wife.

Once upon a time a daughter asked her father for a flower. The father went for the flower and took it, but he met a beast. The monster demanded that his daughter come to his castle.

At home, the young girl found out about everything and went to the beast. Then she learned that the monster was an enchanted prince.

In the end, the girl fell in love with the beast and the curse was lifted.

                                            "Riquet with the Tuft" by Charles Perrault.

Once upon a time there was a Queen whose son was ugly, he had a tuft. But her son was very clever.

Several years later in another country two twin girls were born. One of them was beautiful, but stupid, another was ugly, but clever.

In the forest stupid princess met Riquet with the tuft. He was in love with the princess for her beauty. The prince asked the princess to marry him. Stupid princess said she would marry him in a year.

The princess gotten a lot smarter this year. All people were amazed about it. 

One year later she met Riquet with the tuft again. He was preparing for the wedding.

The princess understood that the ugly prince gave her mind. They were married. She saw Riquet's inner handsome qualities, such as: intelligence, manners, and behavior.

Tales from childhood: First we don’t appreciate things, then we feel regret about it.

Sometimes Sophie was a moody child. She didn’t value simple but important things around her.

On the windowsill little Sophie had a pot with flowers. Her grandmother bought it for Sophie, at the end of third grade. This plant was unusual for granny.

“Your flower had many green leaves and bright petals. But color of it is pink,” grandmother said to Sophie.

“This is a simple plant. My flower requires a lot of troubles. Similar weeds grow in the garden, too.” little Sophie said with a smirk.

But the home flower gave a wonderful aroma. Sophie’s granny regularly watered it. Sophie didn’t like this deal. She was afraid to pour water on the carpet.

Also, Sophie thought that the beautiful flower has more problems than it was worth. The petals often fell on the windowsill and carpet.

“Oh! Today my room is full of garbage again!” Sophie wailed when she found pink petal or green stalk from her flower.

Despite this, somewhere deep down Sophie loved this flower.

After watering the ground in the pot became wet. Then little Sophie felt the smell of nature. It smelled like a light summer air.

But unfortunately flower wilted. Sophie and her grandmother tried to save their plant. They transplanted flower. It didn’t help. In Sophie’s room there was no longer a pleasant aroma and a beautiful plant.

Just now she did realize how was important the flower was for her. Sophie had a simple windowsill. Lacking only aroma and beauty.

“I miss my flower!” Sophie thought.

Now little Sophie tried to value things which were near.

Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Hanging Gardens of Babylon were the second of Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is possible they are not exist. Also, location of Hanging Gardens is unknown.

There are many myths and legends about this wonder. Beautiful flowers and green trees among desert. Ancient writers wrote about Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

King Nabuchadnezzar II built this for his wife queen Amytis of Media.

It was about 605 B. C. Many people care for the plants.

There are pictures of Hanging Gardens. May be it was beautiful.
