Retrofuturism is a genre of art. People from the past imagine the future. There are many assumptions about what the world will look like in many years. 

Writers wrote books about the next century and describe inventions of mankind. Artists paint buildings of the city of the future and its changes.

But these expectations don't always correspond to reality.

Andrea di Pietro della Gondola was an Italian architect. He was born on November 30, 1508, in Republic of Venice.

Palladio created different villas.

He died on August 19, 1580, in Republic of Venice.

Great Wall of China.

 The Great Wall of China is a famous building. This wall was built for protection from enemies. It was built in Ancient China. These series of walls is situated in Northern China. The Great Wall of China is one of China's symbols, about 13, 000 miles (20921.42) in length.

Emperor Qin Shi Huang conceived this building in III century B. C. The Great Wall was built by many different people. This wall was created for many years during this time the dynasties were changing.

The Great wall of China survived different periods in history.

Constantinople.

 Constantinople (Κωνσταντινούπολις) (Constantinopolis) was the capital of the Byzantine Empire, the Latin Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the Roman Empire in different periods.

In ancient times this place was a port city. Because Byzas from the Greek city of Megara created a settlement on the strait of Bosporus. On the strait the Mediterranean Seas and the Black Sea connected. He was the legendary founder of this city.

Later there were many rulers who controlled Constantinople. The Spartans, Athenians, Macedonians, and Persians fought for power.

Emperor Constantine I made a capital at Byzantium called "New Rome".

The Hagia Sophia is a famous architectural design work. This church was built by Justinian I. About six years 10, 000 workers created this building.

Constantinople saw different rulers and events. People with many religions visited this city.

In XIII century, Constantinople fell. It was in April 1204.

But this city kepts its history and buildings.

Colors, clothes, arts, make up, shoes, and even lifestyle are parts of the fashion. Building styles, such as: Baroque, Rococo, Gothic, and ect. These were popular fashion styles for their periods. But time is changing, fashion is changing, too.

During history people had different types of clothes. Also, climate and weather were influences for it. On was replaced by another.

Sometimes a fashion may come back. Old names. jewelry, or symbols can appear again. Different things affect fashion.

This industry continues today.

Art Deco or Arts Decoratifs (Internacional Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts) appeared at the beginning of XX century.

This style had parts of other arts, such as: cubism, some ancient arts, fauvism, futurism, and etc. Many different styles in one.

Art Deco used in architecture, statues, buildings, paintings, and furnitures. Bright colors were important for this style.

Works in Art Deco can be found almost anywhere. It is both individual and similar.

Great Pyramid of Giza.

Great Pyramid of Giza (other names the Pyramid of Khufu and the pyramid of Cheops) is one of Giza pyramid complex. This building is the largest and oldest among all pyramids.

In Ancient Egypt, Giza pyramid complex was built for Egyptian king pharaoh. They are very big! Great Pyramid of Giza, Great Sphinx, Pyramid of Menkaure.

People built them with own hands. Many Egyptians worked for king. They used special technics. In pyramids many coffins because Anient Egyptians buried pharaohs. People used stones for ancient buildings.

Great Pyramid of Giza is the only Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which survived for our days. It was build about 2550 B. C. Age of this building more than 4000 years old (about 4500).

Many people can see ancient history in Egypt.
