Tales from childhood: What's your profession?

"What are you chosen your profession?" asked journalist young lady.

"I think that this is my fate. I like my work." the woman asked.

It was movie about people and their life. Sophie, Natalie, and Angela watched it. They understood that these women were simple.

Also, bosses and colleagues spoke there. They had to visit different places.

"It's just their job," Sophie thought.

The girls were already big and understood a lot about professions.

Tantalus.

Tantalus (Τάνταλος) (Tántalos) was a king of Phrygia (Φρυγία) (Phrygía) in Greek mythology. Zeus was his father and Pluto (Πλουτώ) was his mother.

Tantalus insulted the gods, so he was sent to Tartarus (Τάρταρος) (Tártaros) to Hades (ᾍδης) (Hā́idēs). There Tantalus suffered greatly.

He had wives and children. Niobe was one of Tantalus' offspring.

Tales from childhood: Another person and his view.

Lara was an ill-mannered child. And her mother was ill-mannered, too. Even after several years, little has changed. Maybe they just became calmer. Grandfather didn't tell them anything at all.

"This is how they communicate," Sophie's grandmother said.

Raymond and Maria had a family friend. He was very cheerful and kind. Also, their friend had a great sense of humor. So, his life was easy and positive.

Tales from childhood: The secrets of the town.

“I live here many years,” Mrs. Anne said.

It was true. An elderly woman lived for many years in a small suburb of a large city. Perhaps over the years Mrs. Anne knew things that other residents didn’t.

There was even a case where a resident of a big city was found in the suburb. Her family was very happy!

Sophie and her friends visited many different places in the suburb. Also, they visited a big city often.

There was a secret place in Mrs. Anne’s house that only a few people knew about.

Gordian Knot.

Gordian Knot (Γόρδιος δεσμός) (Nodus Gordianus) was a very difficult knot in Greek myths and legends.

Phrygia (Φρυγία) (Phrygía) was a kingdom without king. Simple man named Gordias (Γορδιάς, Γόρδιος) (Gordias, Gordius) became a king of Phrygia. He called the capital after himself: Gordion (Γόρδιον) (Górdion, Gordium). Also, Gordias created the knot.

Alexander the Great cut the Gordian knot.

There is a metaphor that means solve difficult problem about the Gordian Knot.
