Clouds in the nature.

In the sky we can see clouds. too. They can have different shapes. Clouds are white or gray color.

Before it rains, there are a lot of gray clouds in the sky, and then it rains.

During sunrise and sunset clouds become pink.

Sometimes there may be few clouds in the sky.

Sky of our planet.

The sky is the space above the surface of the Earth. The sky is blue; there are also clouds, rain, snow, rainbow in it.

During sunset the sky becomes horizontal pink and later dark. Also, there are the stars and/or the Moon.

Constellations are situated in the sky. These are group of stars. Constellations have different sizes. Also, the stars are arranged differently.

Some constellations were named after the characters of ancient myths and legends.

Tales from childhood: Pretty talk.

There were many grey clouds in the sky on this day. But Mrs. Anne, her daughter, and her grandson went to the yard.

Sophie and Angela walked there, too. 

Mrs. Anne smiled in this moment.

Suddenly Timothy came into the yard and sat down on a bench. He was wearing an iron mask.

The elderly woman knew how to support other people in different situations.

Mrs. Anne rejoiced at the happiness of person. Also, she sympathized with the trouble.

Mrs. Anne sat down next to the young man. They started talking about everything in the world. Then Timothy took off his iron mask.

"I see the beauty of your personality." the wise old woman said.

"One boy can't sleep at night after looking at me!" Timothy said.

"He's very impressionable. He can't sleep on other occasions either." Mrs. Anne said.

Sophie and Angela understood that this old woman is kind to everyone and at all times.

Aurora.

Aurora or the polar light is a light in the sky. This phenomenon occurs during the cold season.

During the aurora borealis, the magnetosphere and the solar wind interact in the Earth's atmosphere.

The polar light appears in the dark sky. The color of the aurora is bright.

Uranus.

Uranus (Οὐρανός ) was a god of the sky in Ancient Greece. His father was Chaos (χάος). His mother was Hemera (Ἡμέρα).  

Uranus was the first ruler of the world in Greek mythology. He lived in the sky. Uranus had a wife Gaia (Γαῖα).

He had many different children. The Titans, the Giants, the Cyclops, the Meliae, and etc.

Icarus.

Icarus (Ἴκαρος) was a son of Daedalus and Naucrate in Greek myths and legends.

His father Daedalus created two pairs of wings. He used wax and feathers. Icarus and Daedalus flew together on these wings.

Daedalus asked his son not to fly too close to the sun and the sea. They flew in the sky.

But suddenly Icarus forgot about father's words. He flew very high and the sun melted the wax on his wings. So, Icarus fell into the sea and drowned.

His body was buried by Heracles. Icarus was buried in Icaria (Ικαρία). The sea where he drowned was named the Icarian Sea (Icarus, Icarium mare) (᾽Ίκαρος, ᾽Ικάριον πέλαγος). 

This myth became popular in different arts.

Tales from childhood: Festive poster.

 The school asked to make a poster for an important holiday. Sophie had her own idea, but she didn't tell anyone.

At home, she took a large sheet of paper, pens, and pencils. Little Sophie drew beautiful landscape with sky and plants. She loved creative subjects. Sophie was very keen on the process that she forgot about everything.

Then she put her work in her school pack. Little Sophie was very proud of herself! This poster was important for her.

"Well done!" the teacher said.

She was glad that the teacher appreciate her work.
