Tales from childhood: Pretty talk.

There were many grey clouds in the sky on this day. But Mrs. Anne, her daughter, and her grandson went to the yard.

Sophie and Angela walked there, too. 

Mrs. Anne smiled in this moment.

Suddenly Timothy came into the yard and sat down on a bench. He was wearing an iron mask.

The elderly woman knew how to support other people in different situations.

Mrs. Anne rejoiced at the happiness of person. Also, she sympathized with the trouble.

Mrs. Anne sat down next to the young man. They started talking about everything in the world. Then Timothy took off his iron mask.

"I see the beauty of your personality." the wise old woman said.

"One boy can't sleep at night after looking at me!" Timothy said.

"He's very impressionable. He can't sleep on other occasions either." Mrs. Anne said.

Sophie and Angela understood that this old woman is kind to everyone and at all times.

Tales from childhood: Different sides of person.

On that day Sophie's teacher didn't visit the school. So, the lesson was taught by another teacher. She worked there for many years.

The children had to learn the verse at home and recite it at school.

"Students, let's read the verse!" the older teacher said and looked at Kate.

"Come on, you answer." the teacher said.

"I didn't learn the verse." Kate said.

"Badly." the teacher said.

"Can you answer your homework?" the older teacher said and looked at Anne.

"I forgot about my homework." Anne said as she lowered her eyes.

Sophie and some of the other students recited the verse well or not.

The next day, the teacher and students discussed what happened.

"Those who didn't prepare their homework showed themselves on the bad side. Because this teacher has been working in our school for many years. Anne's brother is in tenth grade. She knows him. Some of your parents studied here, too." the teacher said.

After these words, many children really thought.

Dorian Gray is a handsome young man. His personality has different sides. Basil Hallward is an artist who drew the picture of Dorian Gray. This is the most important part in the novel.

Also, Dorian Gray falls in love with actress named Sibyl Vane. She is a beautiful woman. But she committed suicide. James Vane is a Sibyl's brother and sailor. He wants to avenge after sister's death.

Lord Henry Wotton is an aristocrat. His personality has many contradictions, too.

Novel has many philosophical moments. Each character can be analyzed. There are many old and modern movies about this story. Book was translated in different languages. Writer's work became an important for the literature.
