Tales from childhood: Holidays in the city.

Hi, people! This is Timothy. I want to share with you one story. It happened when I was a teenager.

It was fall then. The other children at the orphanage had been taken away by relatives for the holidays, and I was left alone.

Then I realized I could go for a walk because no one would notice my absence. The adults wouldn't care! So, I decided to take advantage of this.

I took the necessary things and left the building. This was Friday. The weather was cloudy.

I rode on buses and trams. Everyone was in hurry. An hour and a half later I arrived in the center of a big city. And suddenly... it started raining heavily!

So, I ran into the subway. If it's raining outside, then I can be here. At the next station I saw my "blind love", she was playing the harp like an angel.

"Hi, how are you?" asked my neighbor.

"I live in an orphanage now." I said.

"Poor young man!" he said and sighed.

But I've already gotten used to this life. I enjoyed the freedom these past few days. I rode the metro. I ate a lot of different snacks. It was delicious!

Then the rain stopped and I went into city. I like the spot next to the fountain. I even put my hand in there. A passerby already gave me a sideways glance.

I remembered! I have to go back to the orphanage soon! I need to do this in advance.

I was late, but no one noticed.

Tales from childhood: Talk in a café.

Hello to everyone who is reading these lines now. This is Sophie speaking, I think you remember me. I want to share with you an incident that I overheard in a café.

"Mom, are we going to live in another village soon?" some girl asked her mother.

"Yes, tomorrow we will go there by train" the woman answered.

"I hope it will be much better these than here." the girl said.

"I hope so, too" the mother said.

I hear this lot. Supposedly, other places are paradise. But I'm skeptical. It's just that I've been a tourist in a few places before, and expectations and reality don't always match.

I said what I thought.

My advises for travels.

1. If you must wake up early you need an alarm clock.

2. When you are in transport you can read a book or madazine, watch a movie.

3. In big city you can go to eat in cafe. If your way is about one hour or more. Also you can go shopping in big shops.

4. In plane or in train better eat food even if you think that you're not hungry. If you want to drink you can ask for a glass of water.

5. Study history and facts about country in which you travel or simply stay. It's very important for you.

6. If your way-is very, very long you can stay in motel for one night or more. Because rest is needed for human organism.

7. After travels you can be very tired so your sleep should be good.
