Once upon a time there was a Prince. He had his own kingdom. But this Prince’s kingdom was very small.

He wanted to marry the Emperor’s daughter. Prince sent her a rose and nightingale as a gift. But the Princess wasn’t happy with them.

Then the Prince decided to become a swineherd and worked alongside the Princess. Also, he created a little kettle with bells. A melody was sung while cooking. The Prince gave this as a gift to the Princess and she liked it. The Princess loved artificial things.

She gave him ten kisses.

Later swineherd made a rattle. The Princess was glad again. He had hundred princess’s kisses.

Tales from childhood: Christmas holiday.

It was a very important day for Sophie. She wanted to celebrate Christmas with her friends.

Lara's stepmother decided to throw a party for children and their friends. She began to prepare for this event in advance. Sophie and Natalie were invited to this party.

In the morning, all the guests gathered in a cozy apartment. Santa Claus was guest, too. Children received gifts.

Little Sophie liked the way the apartment was decorated.

"I will remember this Christmas," Sophie said to Natalie.

"Me too," Natalie said.

Lara had a soft toy. She was happy in this day just like the other children.

Sophie remembered this Christmas with warmness.

This holiday was nice for children. Everyone was happy and contented.

Tales from childhood: Our heroes!

Sophie felt the lights of a sun on her face. She woke up after a long sleep. Little Sophie thought about Victory Day.

It was a spring morning. Sophie went to school with red flowers. It was a gift for veterans.

“Give flowers to strange people! It’s strange!” a stupid boy said.

“These people gave a peace for us,” the teacher said.

Little Sophie and Johnny went to congratulate a veteran. This old woman worked in a school. She was short and her position was modest. But the veteran went through the whole war! She worked and fought.

“Congratulations!” the children said.

The school worker was very glad! It was important for her. She smiled.

During break time high school students cared for the veterans. Little Sophie and her classmates saw them in Assembly Hall.

Also, children told about their grandparents. Little Sophie was proud of her granny.

Next day Sophie visited a parade in her town.  She understood many serious things.

“I think that veterans accomplished a feat,” little Sophie said.

“Yes, it’s true,” Sophie’s mother said.

Tales from childhood: A real fairy tale.

Sophie wanted to celebrate New Year with her cousin Caroline and best friend Natalie. Adults give a permission for this holiday party.

All girls met at Natalie's apartment. She had a big room. So, at the New Year's Eve children made a lot of interesting things. Sophie remembered school Christmas performance and played a princess. Caroline was a queen, Natalie was a fairy.

In the evening they had a great dinner. It was very delicious!

Several hours later Caroline fell asleep on the sofa. But Sophie and Natalie waited until midnight. Children were very tired and fell asleep quickly.

In the morning girls woke up and found... gifts on the table and Christmas tree! Soft toys and beautiful clothes! Sophie thought that it was Santa Claus.

Children went home with their new things and their parents were very glad.
