Tales from childhood: Antique toys.

"I have a teddy bear that my grandmother gave me!" Natalie said.

Then she proudly showed the old toy. The teddy bear really looked old because it had been played with a lot. Also, the little bear was dressed in a costume of that time.

"First, my granny gave this toy to my Mom, and my mother gave the teddy bear to me." Natalie added.

Sophie and her friends were already big, so they didn't play with toys much anymore. Teenagers gave them to relatives and friends. In those families, small children played with toys.

One day, Sophie and her classmates went on an excursion to the toy museum. There they saw toys from the century before last and antique dolls, too.

Tales from childhood: The things.

When Sophie was a little child, she was very greedy. Simply, she couldn't understand many things, Sophie liked her toys. Little Sophie liked to play with her new toys in different places. Maybe other children wanted to play with her toys, too.

"You're a greedy girl," some child said.

"I love my own things!" Sophie said.

Suddenly Sophie understood one important thing. If she valued her toys, she had to leave them at home.

So, Sophie decided to leave her new toys at home. She played with these toys alone. Or with Natalie if she visited her.

When Sophie was a child she had many different toys. Several beautiful dolls three teddy bears. Someone gave her old toys, Sophie's grandmother was doing something.

So in one day when she walked in the yard, little Sophie didn't notice her favorite doll. She remembered that she took her toy for a walk. This doll was a present for Sophie's seventh Birthday. She started crying.

"I lost my doll," Sophie said very loudly.

But nobody paid attention. Little Sophie wanted to find her important thing.

Suddenly the old woman with a cane noticed sad Sophie.

"What's happened?" she asked.

This woman was Mrs. Anne. She was an old woman and she worried about other people. Her heart was kind.

"I lost my doll," Sophie said.

The old woman felt sorry about this situation. She was Sophie's neighbor. Her own children were middle aged people, grandchildren were students of colleges and institutes. The old woman saw hard moments of life. She often worried about little children. So, she decided to help Sophie.

"Let's go to find," said the old woman.

Little Sophie and the old woman went to look for the plastic doll. They watched around trees, tables, swing, and carousel. But Sophie and Mrs. Anne couldn't find the toy.

Suddenly Sophie saw her doll. It was her toy!

"This is my doll!" Sophie said.

"It's very good!" said the old woman.

The beautiful doll laid on the bench of another side of the yard. Sophie was happy! Also, she felt the old woman's support.

Kids toys on wood shop shelves.

Sophie had a lot of toys: doll with blue eyes, large teddy bear, plane and car from Johnny. She wanted to have modern and new things. Some of them were presents from Natalie, some bought in supermarket.

But little girl had dream for more and more toys. Sometimes Sophie forgot about her old teddy bear. Toy was very large. There was a lot of dust around it.

One day, there was snowfall, cold, and freeze. Sophie's grandmother told about her childhood. She had just one wooden doll. Sometimes granny made toys from paper. But she was glad and proud for her toys.

Suddenly, girl remembered about large teddy bear. Sophie cleaned it. She was very happy that she has a lot of toys. Also, Sophie started to thinking for other toys, too.

We must remember about all our toys, old and new. They give us happy minutes in childhood. Maybe toys habe their own soul.
