Literature. Part hundred five.

                                            The Cat that Walked by Himself by Rudyard Kipling.

Many years ago there were man and woman. They could domesticate a dog, a horse, a cow, but the cat walked on its own.

The cat was an independent animal.

People tried to tame the cat, but the animal wanted to be on her own, it only came to visit and played with the baby.

Literature. Part eighty three.

                                                “Cat and Mouse in Partnership” by the Brothers Grimm.

Once upon a time there were cat and mouse. The animals were friends.

The cat and the mouse prepared a pot with fat for winter.

Suddenly the cat said that her cousin brought a son, and asked her to be a godmother. The mouse stayed at home.

At this time, the cat went to lick the fat in the pot.

The cat went like this two more times, until the fat in the pot ran out.

She said that her cousin’s children’s names are: “Top-off”, “Half-done”, and “All-gone”.

When winter came, the cat and the mouse went for a pot of fat.

The mouse realized that the cat had eaten all fat in the pot.

The cat immediately ate the mouse.

Literature. Part sixty two.

                                                     "The Ugly Ducking" by Hans Christian Andersen.

Once upon a time mother duck had some eggs. Duckings hatched from the eggs. They were all nice. Except one.

The only ducking was very different from others. He was ugly. The ducking's neck was long. So, other animals noticed it. They said bad things about him. These animals didn't know who he was.

It was unpleasant for the ducking and his mother. The duck protected her unusual child. But the ugly ducking suffered from bullying.

The ducking went away from his family. Afterwards, he met wild geese in the swamp. But unfortunately they were killed by hunters.

Also, the ugly lived in another place. There were hen and a cat. But they laughed at him, too.

The ducking lived on the lake but still worried. Suddenly he saw swans. The ducking understood that he loved them.

Another time the ugly ducking saw his reflection. Now he knew that he is a nice swan. The ducking lived with other swans.

Literature. Part thirty seven.

                                  "Town Musicians of Bremen" by the Brothers Grimm.

Once upon a time donkey dicided to go to Bremen city. He wanted to become a micisian. On the way donkey met a dog.

So, animals went together to Bremen. Some time later the donkey and dog met a cat. This animal wanted to become a town musician of Bremen and joined to them.

At the end the donkey, the dog, and the cat met a farm rooster. He wanted to run away from his farmer.

In the evening animals saw a house in the forest. Friends were very tired and hungry. Donkey saw robbers there. They wanted to scare them away. Animals stood on top of each other.

Robbers run away from the forest. Donkey, dog, cat, and rooster lived in this place.

"The story of Dick."

Dick was a boy. He was an orphan. Dick's parents died. Boy was very poor and had only one friend: his cat. Dick loved it very dearly.

Once he heard that lofe in London was very good. That the streets of city were full of gold.

When Dick and his friend cat came to British capital, they certainly didn't see the gold. Also friends didn't see people who wanted to help them.

At last boy found a job on the ship.

"May I take my pet with me?" he asked the captain of the ship.

"Yes, of cause" said the captain.

He was an old kind man. The captain often told Dick many stories about strange countries and strange people.

One day when was a storm in the sea, the ship was driven onto a strange country. There lived people with red skins.

The captain of the ship. sent many beautiful presents to the king and to the Queen of that kingdom. Then royal couple invided them to their palace.

It was a pretty place. There were a lot of foods for the masters and guests. But hundreds of rats entered into the palace and began to eat all foods.

King said, that nobody can help them.

Then Dick's cat saw rats and soon all of them were dead.

Monarchs were so pleased that gave the boy twelve bags of gold.

When he came to London, he was very rich. He married a girl. They three lived forever together.
