Tales from childhood: Antique toys.

"I have a teddy bear that my grandmother gave me!" Natalie said.

Then she proudly showed the old toy. The teddy bear really looked old because it had been played with a lot. Also, the little bear was dressed in a costume of that time.

"First, my granny gave this toy to my Mom, and my mother gave the teddy bear to me." Natalie added.

Sophie and her friends were already big, so they didn't play with toys much anymore. Teenagers gave them to relatives and friends. In those families, small children played with toys.

One day, Sophie and her classmates went on an excursion to the toy museum. There they saw toys from the century before last and antique dolls, too.

Tales from childhood: Point of view.

"You can hear people around. But you must have your own opinion. Always." Sophie's mother said.

One day children talked about their old things. Somebody played with them, somebody just admired.

"I like my old dollhouse," Sophie said.

"It's strange! I prefer new toys!" Kate said.

It just seemed strange to that girl. She liked fashionable things.

Little Sophie didn't change her mind. She had her own point of view. Sophie valued her old dollhouse.

It was a very beautiful toy! Looked like a Medieval castle. Many different dolls lived there. Sophie created interesting stories about this place.

She felt that she lived with her characters in that castle.

Literature. Part seventy one.

"The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep" by Hans Christian Andersen.

Once upon a time there were two porcelain figures. They were a shepherdess and a chimney sweep. These figures were in love.

But shepherdess' grandfather wanted to marry her to another. So, the couple run away.

They visited a toy theatre in a house. Also, the shepherdess and the chimney sweep climbed through a stove pipe on the roof. It was hard for them. The couple saw the night sky.

Later the chimney sweep and the shepherdess returned to the house.

Shepherdess' grandfather has fallen because he wanted to run for them. He was repaired.

At the end the couple was saved.

This fairy tale was translated to different languages. There are many illustrations, movies, and cartoons about this story.
