Tales from childhood: Travel in the town.

 It was a simple day. Natalie visited Sophie. They decided to go to the market. Little Sophie was very glad. She wanted to visit this place.

"A good idea!" Sophie said with happiness.

"I thought about it for a long time," Natalie said.

The best friends walked in the market. They saw different toys, sweets, and clothes. Sophie and Natalie decided to buy same goods.

"I want to buy a little soft toy," Sophie said.

"I want to buy some magnets with our landscapes," Natalie said.

The girls bought their goods and went home.

Later Sophie called her granny and told about the goods.

Argonauts.

 The Argonauts (Ἀργοναῦται,) were heroes in Greek legends. Some of them were children of Titans (Τιτᾶνες). They went with Jason for the Golden Fleece. The Argonauts and Jason found it. This happened before the Trojan War.

Athena helped them build their ship 'Argo'. Later Jason and the Argonauts sailed to search for the Golden Fleece. Among them were: Heracles (Ἡρακλῆς,), Orpheus, Peleus, Telamon, and etc.

They met different gods and goddesses, such as: Ares (Ἄρης), Hera, and Medea (Μήδεια,). Jason married Medea.

The Argonauts had many different adventures.

In ancient Greece writers wrote myths and legends about them. There are paintings and statues of these heroes.

Great people: Jules Verne.

 Jules Gabriel Verne was born on February 8, 1828, in Nantes, France. His Parents were Pierre Verne and Dame Sophie Marie Adélaïde Julienne Allotte de La Fuÿe. Jules Verne had several siblings.

When he was a young man he started writing texts. Verne had different styles in it. Also, he studied in Paris.

Jules Verne met with other writers. 

He wrote many books. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), Around the World in Eighty Days (1872) Journey to the Centre of the Earth (1864) From the Earth to the Moon (1865).

Jules Verne used science fiction genre for his literary works. Characters in the books has different adventures.

Verne visited many places. He married in 1857. Jules Verne had a son.

His novels were translated to many languages. There are movies about these stories.

Jules Verne died on March 24, 1905, in Amiens, France.

Literature. Part sixty eight.

                                                                "Bluebeard" by Charles Perrault.

Bluebeard was a wealthy man. He was married several times. But all his wives disappeared somewhere.

Women were afraid of him. They didn't want to marry him.

One neighboring girl decided to marry Bluebeard.

He had many different rooms in his house.

After wedding Bluebeard left to another place.

He gave his wife the keys to all the rooms. There was a room in the house that she couldn't enter.

The young woman was very curios. She opened that room, too. She saw bodies of his previous wives. The key was magical and stained with blood.

Bluebeard knew about all. He became angry and wanted to kill his wife. But relatives saved the young woman.

This fairy tale was translated to many languages. There are different performances about this story.
