Tales from childhood: Mark and swing.

Sophie and Natalie were in the yard. Afterwards, little Mark went, too. His mother was with him.

The boy rocked on a swing. Girls watched him do it. But suddenly child fell and cried. Little Sophie noticed an injury on his forehead.

Mark's mother run with her son to neighbourhood hospital. Sophie and Natalie were worried about him.

Several days later Sophie and her friend saw Mark and his mother. The child had a bandage on his forehead.

Mark told little Sophie and Natalie that he had a scar in the shape of a star.

Hera.

Hera was a goddess of marriage and family in Ancient Greece. Her parents were Cronus and Rhea. The goddess had several siblings such as: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Chiron.

Hera's symbols were: peacock feather, lily, cow, lion, diadem, pomegranate.

Myths and legends were told about the goddess and her children. There are many paintings and statues about goddess Hera.

Tales from childhood: Sophie's mood.

Little Sophie had a strange mood that day. Since morning she was angry. Suddenly Sophie said offending things to her grandmother.

After the girl scattered her toys. At the end Sophie became sad and she started crying. Granny in the room appeared and said several wise words about this situation.

Sophie apologized to her grandmother. Finished crying she cleaned up in her room and thought about own behavior.

After add water to the cup. Wait several minutes.

Great people: Brothers Grimm.

Jacob Ludwig Karl Grimm was born on January 4, 1785 in the Holy Roman Empire. Wilhelm Karl Grimm was born on February 24, 1786 in the Holy Roman Empire.


The brothers Grimm were German writers and philologists. They wrote a lot of famous fairy tales, such as: "Hansel and Gretel", "Rapunzel", "Snow White", "Town Musicians of Bremen", "Sleeping Beaty", and etc. The Grimms' books were translated to many different languages.

There are a lot of movies and cartoons with their characters.


Jacob Luwig Karl Grimm died on September 20, 1863 in the German Confederation. Wilhelm Karl Grimm died on December 16, 1859 in the German Confederation.

Literature. Part forty nine.

                                       The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo.

This novel is about the Middle Ages in Europe. Many historic things are described in it.

Main characters had a lot of relations in the book. Esmeralda is a street dancer and she wanted to find her family. Quasimodo has a hunchback and is deaf. He is a bell ringer. Pierre Gringoire is a poet and philosopher.

Good and bad moments happened with people. Characters saved, loved, and found each other.

At the end Esmeralda and Quasimodo died.

Novel describes medieval France and Gothic architecture. There are many paintings, cartoons, movies about this story.
