Tales from childhood: This or that.

 Sophie liked very different games. Sometimes she played alone with her toys. Then she came up with the rules for her own games. Or she played with her friends. It depended on her mood.

But one day children played in the yard. They rehearsed the play. Little Lara didn't want to listen Sophie's words. It was very unpleasant for her. Some little girl won't let her play.

Suddenly Beth and Lara's stepmother appeared from the corner. The young woman was with her children.

"Must play all together or no one," the stepmother said.

Lara went in her thoughts. She made a mistake. Little Lara had to listen to Sophie. Her stepmother was right in this moment.

Sophie decided to play alone. She played in a game with her own rules.

Lara caught the young woman's stern gaze and considered her behavior. Beth supported Lara's stepmother.

Tales from childhood: Day with friends.

Natalie moved to a different place. But Sophie and Natalie were the best friends, despite of that fact. Sophie's friend often visited the old yard. They played together very well!

So, Sophie and Natalie decided to spent the Sunday morning in the sports ground. Sophie's best friend went to the place on schedule.

"Hi! Sophie, how are you?" Natalie asked Sophie.

"Good Morning, Natalie! I'm fine on this Sunday. And you?" little Sophie said.

"I have many emotions now. I waited for this day for so long. I want to play here," Natalie said.

They started playing hide-and-seek together, friends ran, riding on scooters, roll on skates. Sophie and Natalie used helmets and other protections.

Several minutes later in the sports ground other children appeared. But little Sophie and her friend didn't know them. They played with big red ball.

When Sophie and Natalie finished together, they went home. On the way Sophie understood important things: even if your friend is in a different place you can meet with them.

Volleyball.

Volleyball is a famous sports game. This is a team game. Ball and gridare used for it.

Usually, it is played on the street or in the hall. Volleyball is a part of Summer Olympic Games.

Also, it's played by schoolchildren in physical education classes.

Football.

Football or soccer is a very popular sport game in the world. This sport has long and interesting history. Almost every ancient country had its own football game.

Now football is a game with ball and goals. Everyone plays with their feet except goalkeepers.

There are many types of this popular game such as: Rugby, beach football, American football, and etc.

Often contries play football to win a cup.

Fantasy.

Fantasy is an unusual genre of literature. Science fiction and fairy tale are included in it. Also, fantasy is used in other types of arts such as: movies, cartoons, paintings.

People and magical creatures are main characters in fantasy. They can talk to each other. Good and bad are important for plot of this genre.

Characters from folklore and mythology often appear in fantasy books. Fairies, dwarves, unicorns, mermaids, dragons, and etc. Sometimes this literary genre contains horror elements.

Utopian ans dystopian fiction are popular among writers. Somebody thinks about an "ideal world in the future". Or conversely discribes bad parts of the world. For example, 1984 by George Orwell.

Famous genre fantasy used in games, by modern artists, and designers.

Tales from childhood: A cool boy.

Sophie often walked with her company. Suddenly in this palce a new boy arrived. He was nine years old. He had a small height, but he wanted to be cool. His name was Edward. Edward always showed off with children.

Beth and Jack didn't like this behavior. Little Sophie wanted to finish games with Edward. Natalie and Caroline understood him and talked about coolness.

Several days later Johnny siad to Edward that children in the yard will not play with him. Because Edward shows off all the time. He thought about his own behavior and style. May be Edward understood what he was a "cool" boy.

Later he decided to apologize before friends. So, Edward got a second chance.

Sophie and other children started playing with Edward because he changed his behavior.

Tales from childhood: Pleasant winter.

It was a cold winter week. Sophie and her classmates had a Christmas holiday.

In the first school day after the holidays, teacher told about Winter Sport Games for 2-"A" grade.

So, Sophie had a lot of warm clothes for this competition. Many children and several school teachers appeared in the park. People wore different winter clothes such as, gloves, hats, scarfs, warm coats, winter shoes, several sweaters.

But children had a fun time. Friends played hockey, tried figure skating, and skiing.

At the end Sophie understood that friendship won on this winter day.

Tales from childhood: Proud for friends.

In school, sports games will soon begin. Sophie will participate in her 1-"A" grade. Other pupils worried and trained before sport games.

Little children must run very fast and catch a ball. If class wins, teacher gives big presents to all.

Sophie played with another girl from 1-"B" grade. Kate very tried despite the fact she was weak during physical education.

During boys competition, Johnny fell on the floor. Children in 1"A" grade and their teacher loudly supported him. The whole gym heard it. So, boy got up and became a leader.

At the end 1-"A" grade wins these sport games. Sophie was very happy about this event in her school year. In the classroom they had big golden cup. Every child in Sophie's grade received their own awards; medals and acclaiming lists.

Also, boys and girls had a party with tea, juices, pies, cookies, and chocolate sweets. Sophie all time felt proud for her classmates.

It was the celebration for the whole class, teacher and pupils alike.

Physical education.

Physical education or PE is very interesting and simple subject. Children can run and jump during the lessons. It's very good for their health and organism.

Teachers move together with children, too. Sometimes they use special equipment such as: skipping rope, hula hoop, balls, and etc.

Sports games, like football and volleyball are part of this lesson. PE school students need sport uniform.

But if a person has problems with health he or she can be free from physical education lesson.
