Tales from childhood: Our team.

Good morning or evening, friends! I'm Mr. H. Soon in our city we will hold a sport competition. Several teams have arrived. They are all ready to play.

"How wonderful, that this long-awaited event is coming soon! Everyone's been preparing for it for months!" my wife said with joy in her voice.

Indeed, a stadium was built specifically for this game. Also, sports grounds appeared on the streets and young people have already begun to engage in various exercises on them. I think it's a good thing. My son has already participated in a sports competition after training at the new location.

"Dad, when are we going to watch the competition?" my son asked me.

"Yes, this evening" I answered.

The ones we supported won! I'm happy, and so is my family!

But I want to tell you again that in sport, the most important things isn't winning, but taking part, because even those who lose have trained their bodies well. Ha-ha-ha!

Tales from childhood: My son.

Hello, people! This is Mr. H. speaking. My son likes different sport games. He has a competition very soon.

"Remember, son, the main thing isn't winning, but participating." I told my son this and patted him on the shoulder.

"Yes, dad, that's exactly it. There's no need to worry about it." he said.

On the day of the competition, I was sitting in the spectators with my wife. We came to support our son.

"Come on, you can do it!" we shouted as our son confidently ran towards the goal with the ball.

My son took an honorable second place and I'm proud him!

"Well done!" my wife said with a smile.

"Thank you Mom and dad! The result is good!" my son said gladly.

I'm doing an exercise on the machine.

Tales from childhood: Angela and time.

"I like my courses!" Angela said.

These were sports courses. There Angela went in sports.

This was helpful to her during this time. Angela attended these courses several days a week.

"For now, let her attend these courses. Then maybe we'll go to others," Maria said.

"Yes, yes," Raymond said.

Sophie and her friends were happy for Angela.

Tales from childhood: Holiday on the ice rink.

Sophie was prepared for Christmas Eve. Her friends Natalie and Anne said that they will celebrate this holiday on the skating rink. Little Sophie and her friends decided to skate.

"I'm glad for this event!" Sophie said. 

"We wish you a good time," her mother and grandmother said.

Weather was nice for skating on the ice rink.

Sophie was in a great mood. It was snowing outside and the sun was shining. On the street, people were very joyful and happy. they were preparing for the holiday.

At the rink, her friends Natalie and Anne were waiting for Sophie.

Sophie had little experience in ice skating, so she often fell on the ice. But Sophie didn't get upset about it, she just tried again and laughed. Natalie and Anne supported Sophie in skating. Her friend Natalie had a little more experience in this deal.

Then the friends felt that they were tired and needed to rest. Good, that very close to selling different food and beverages. The girls smelled delicious tea and fried sausages.

"Let's buy and eat cookies!" Natalie said.

"Cool idea!" Sophie and Anne said.

The teenagers ate cookies.

At home, Sophie was ready for Christmas.

Tales from childhood: Day with friends.

Natalie moved to a different place. But Sophie and Natalie were the best friends, despite of that fact. Sophie's friend often visited the old yard. They played together very well!

So, Sophie and Natalie decided to spent the Sunday morning in the sports ground. Sophie's best friend went to the place on schedule.

"Hi! Sophie, how are you?" Natalie asked Sophie.

"Good Morning, Natalie! I'm fine on this Sunday. And you?" little Sophie said.

"I have many emotions now. I waited for this day for so long. I want to play here," Natalie said.

They started playing hide-and-seek together, friends ran, riding on scooters, roll on skates. Sophie and Natalie used helmets and other protections.

Several minutes later in the sports ground other children appeared. But little Sophie and her friend didn't know them. They played with big red ball.

When Sophie and Natalie finished together, they went home. On the way Sophie understood important things: even if your friend is in a different place you can meet with them.

Tales from childhood: Hobby for Johnny.

It was a winter day. Beth, Johnny, and Mr. Theodor watched hockey on TV. Little Johnny had an inspiration of this game. He wanted to become a hockey player. The boy liked their equipment, helmet, washer, and hockey stick. There were amaing things! Beth liked this game, too.

Mr. Theodor decided to write son in a section. They prepared children for a week. So, Johnny visited this place for several hours a day. But a week later... he wasn't strong enough.

Johnny cried at home. Father and sister supported him. After Mr. Theodor decided to write his son in football section. A week later they took him there. Johnny was very happy! Beth and Mr. Theodor were glad that he had a good hobby.

Tales from childhood: Playing football.

It was a Physical Education lesson. Sophie and her classmates did exercises before playing football. During the game other children appeared. So, they played toghether.

Suddenly little Sophie saw how Johnny cried. Boy from another class teased him. Johnny's classmates felt sorry for him. Sophie had a sad face, too.

At the end of the lesson teacher said several wise words. After it Beth and Johnny went home. Mr. Theodor became sad, too.

Hockey.

Ice hockey is a winter sports game. It has unique rules and uniforms. Also, hockey has an equipment such as: sticks, hockey pucks, skates, gloves, helmet, and etc.

This sport is popular. Ice hockey is played during Winter Olympic Games.

There are other different types of hockey.

Volleyball.

Volleyball is a famous sports game. This is a team game. Ball and gridare used for it.

Usually, it is played on the street or in the hall. Volleyball is a part of Summer Olympic Games.

Also, it's played by schoolchildren in physical education classes.

It was an important day for Sophie. She and her grandmother visited the city centre. Little Sophie took part in sports competitions!

She ran a long way, caught the ball, and climbed. Granny saw a granddaughter during sports competitions.

At the end Sophie appeared on the scence. She said several words about sport in her life. Also, child had a silver ball as a gift.

Granny said that sport is needed for good health.

Sport is an important part of our life. It's about physical and/or intellectual abilities.

Tales from childhood: Proud for friends.

In school, sports games will soon begin. Sophie will participate in her 1-"A" grade. Other pupils worried and trained before sport games.

Little children must run very fast and catch a ball. If class wins, teacher gives big presents to all.

Sophie played with another girl from 1-"B" grade. Kate very tried despite the fact she was weak during physical education.

During boys competition, Johnny fell on the floor. Children in 1"A" grade and their teacher loudly supported him. The whole gym heard it. So, boy got up and became a leader.

At the end 1-"A" grade wins these sport games. Sophie was very happy about this event in her school year. In the classroom they had big golden cup. Every child in Sophie's grade received their own awards; medals and acclaiming lists.

Also, boys and girls had a party with tea, juices, pies, cookies, and chocolate sweets. Sophie all time felt proud for her classmates.

It was the celebration for the whole class, teacher and pupils alike.

Twist your arms and hands 10 times in both directions.

Twist your legs, knees, and feet in both directions.

Do 15 push-ups and 20 sit-ups.

Finish with breathing. (3 times)

I do it tree times a week.

Good plans for summer holidays.

1. You canwalk in your city or town. You may notice a lot of new things.

2. Cook delicious and healthy dishes. Fruits and vegetables are very important during this warm season.

3. Read interesting books and articles in magazines.

4. Think about yourself.

5. Enjoy summer sports: swimming, running, jogging, and etc.
