Ixion was in love with Hera (Ἥρα) (Hḗrā) (Ἥρη) (Hḗrē). But instead of her gods and goddesses gave him Nephela (Νεφέλη).

Then Ixion told people about his relationship with the wife of Zeus.

At the end Ixion was tied to a spinning wheel and sent to the underworld (Tartarus).
