Tales from childhood: Shiny cards.
Natalie had many old and new cards with pictures and words. They had sparkles. She decided to show cards to Sophie and Beth.
Little Sophie met her best friend in the yard. Girls watched shiny cards. They were happy! Lara saw Sophie and Natalie. She wanted to see cards with pictures and words. But Natalie didn't allow that. Lara could spoil them.
Several minutes later Beth was in the yard. Johnny and Jack came, too. Girls watched old and new cards. Boys talked to each other.
Suddenly Lara said bad things to Beth. The child was just jealous. Natalie and Sophie were silent. But Johnny stood up for his sister. Boy said that she couldn't say bad things about Beth. Also, Beth's brother added very smart words: "Don't say bad things about other people." Jack supported him.
Lara became silent. Sophie, Natalie, and Beth still read cards. Children found wise quotes.
Sophie listened what Beth said about Lara. Mr. Theodor had a simple face. Father remembered that his children were little, too. But they were silent.
