Recipe of pasta with forcemeat.

Ingredients:

Pasta-200 g
Forcemeat-200 g (beef and turkey)
Onion-1/2
Oil-1 table spoon
Salt-1 tea spoon
Italian seasoning-1 tea spoon


Boil pasta in hot water with salt during several minutes.




Cut the onion.


Fry the onion and forcemeat on oil with salt and Italian seasoning.




Add boiled pasta to the fried forcemeat.


You can eat this dish with tomato sauce.





Yummy!

Tales from childhood: Help in hard situation.

In the morning Johnny realised that he forgot his pencil case. Boy became sad. Johnny asked his friends and classmates for pencil and pen. But greedy children didn't give him their things.

Child wanted to cry in the beginning of the class. But suddenly Beth and her classmates appeared. Two teenage boys had things and shared with Beth's brother. Johnny became happy! So, he didn't worry about pencil and pen.

Sophie saw generous people and admired them.

Themis.

Themis is a Greek goddess of justice. Her parents were Uranus and Gaia. Also, Themis known as the second wife of Zeus. They had several children: Horae, Moirai, Astraea, and Prometheus.

Goddess appeared in some legends of Greek mythology.

Now people use the name Themis for justice in courts and laws. The goddess Themis is depicted with bandage on her eyes, scales and sword in her hands.

Tales from childhood: Nimble girl.

Sophie wanted to become a cool girl in her company. So, she decided to brag about her jumping on the skipping rope.

When little Sophie met her friends and cousin, she was very glad. Each of them had their own talents and successful moments.

Girl said that she could jump on the skipping rope many times. At the moment Sophie jumped with long skipping rope just three times. Also, the rope got twisted. All children were very surprised about it. But Sophie was proud of her jumps.

Natalie said that she is a talented person. Other friends kept their opinions.

Assyria.

Assyria was a kingdom in Mesopotamia. Its capital was Assur city. Style of government was monarchy. One of official language was Sumerian. People believed in Mesopotamian gods.

There were many different periods in this country. Early Period (2600-2025 B. C.), Old Assyrian Empire (911-605 B. C.), Middle Assyrian Empire (1392-934 B. C.), Neo-Assyrian Empire (911-605 B. C.).

Each of them were very important for history. A lot of events happened in Assyria.

Ashurbanipal was the king of the Neo-Assyrian Empire (668-627 B. C.). He did a lot of things for his country. Ashurbanipal influenced military, arts, culture, literature.

Library of Ashurbanipal was a beautiful palace with clay tablets. Ancient legends and laws of country there archieved. Even after a fire during a war some clay tablets were saved.

Perseus and Medusa.

Perseus was Zeus and Danae's son. He grew up into a handsome man.

Perseus had to kill Medusa Gorgon. Other mythical characters helped him. Zeus's son met different monsters on his way.

Father gave Perseus a sward and a helmet. Athena helped with shield, and Hermes gave winged sandals.

So, the hero cut the head of Medusa and killed this moster.

Babylonia.

Babylonia was situated in southern Mesopotamia. The ancient civilization appeared in 1894 B. C.

There were many important periods in Babylonia. First Babylinian Dynasty (1894-1595 B. C.), Kassite Dynasty (1595-1155 B. C.), Early Iron Age-Native Rule, Second Dynasty of Isin (1155-1026 B. C.), Period of Chaos (1026-911 B. C.), Assyrian rule (911-619 B. C.).

People in Babylonia had their own kings and laws. King Hammurabi ruled (1792-1750 B. C.) and created many laws in this country (known as Code of Hammurabi). They were very different.

Also, Babylonia had its own gods, arts, culture, and architecture.

Tales from childhood: Pleasant winter.

It was a cold winter week. Sophie and her classmates had a Christmas holiday.

In the first school day after the holidays, teacher told about Winter Sport Games for 2-"A" grade.

So, Sophie had a lot of warm clothes for this competition. Many children and several school teachers appeared in the park. People wore different winter clothes such as, gloves, hats, scarfs, warm coats, winter shoes, several sweaters.

But children had a fun time. Friends played hockey, tried figure skating, and skiing.

At the end Sophie understood that friendship won on this winter day.

Recipe of homemade "zebra" cookies with cocoa.

Ingredients:

Flour-0.5 kg
Sugar-200 g
Eggs-2
Butter-100 g
Sour cream-80 g
Mayonnaise-80 g
Cocoa-3 table spoons
Milk-500 g
Salt-1/3 tea spoon
Baking powder-1 tea spoon

Make two types of dough. Mix ingredients in one bowl (exept cocoa). After mix half of the dough with cocoa. Put the dough in two layers. Warm the oven until 220 C (420 F). Bake the cookies 180 C (350 F) about 15-20 min.

Great people: Grace Kelly.

Grace Patricia Kelly was born on November 12, 192, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her parents were John B. Kelly Sr. and Margaret Katherine Majer. Grace had older and younger siblings.

In 1950's she acted in different movies, such as High Noon (1952), To Catch a Thief (1955), Rear Window (1954). Also, Grace Kelly was a fashion icon of this period.



Actress met Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. They married on April 19, 1956. Grace Kelly and Rainier had three children, Princess Caroline (born on January 23, 1957), Prince Albert (born on March 14, 1958), Princess Stephanie (born on February 1, 1965).




Princess Grace died on September 13, 1982, in an automobile accident.

A young rich woman was on a vacation in Monte Carlo, Monaco. She met a widower named George Fortescue Maximilian de Winter. He lost his wife Rebecca.

Young woman and Maximilian de Winter got married. In the house where they were living in, everything reminded about Rebecca. People said that Maximilian and Rebecca loved each other. Also, they compared Rebecca and Maxim's new wife. Mrs. de Winter had a depression.

There were several theories about Rebecca's death. Someone said that Maximilian's wife was evil and died from an illness.

At the end Mr. and Mrs. de Winter were still together.

There are many movies about this book. Novel was translated on many different languages.
