Johannes Kepler was a German astronomer, mathematician, and philosopher.


He was born on December 27, 1571, in Germany. Since early childhood Kepler was interested in astronomy.

He made many important things for science.

Good evening, everyone! I'm a friend of Raymond's family. I want to tell you about my views.

Naiad.

The naiads (Νηϊάδες) (Ναΐδες) (Ναϊάδες) (naïádes), also known as hydriads were nymphs of springs in Greek mythology. 

Zeus was their father.

Nereids (Νηρηΐδες) (Nērēḯdes) (Νηρηΐς) (Nērēḯs) and Oceanids (Ὠκεανίδες) (Ōkeanídes) (Ὠκεανίς) (Ōkeanís) were relatives of naiads.

They met with other gods and goddesses.

There are different paintings and sculptures about these creatures.

Helios and Rhodos had several children.

Triton (Τρίτων) (Trítōn) was her sibling.

Castor (Κάστωρ) and Pollux (Πολυδεύκης) were twin brothers in Greek mythology. Also, they were called Dioscuri (Διόσκοροι, Διόσκουροι).

Leda (Λήδα) was Castor's and Pollux's mother. Tyndareus (Τυνδάρεος) (Tundáreōs) was Castor's father. Zeus was Pollux's father.

Timandra (Τιμάνδρα), Clytemnestra (Κλυταιμνήστρα) (Klutaimnḗstra), Helen of Sparta, Philonoe (Φιλονόη), and Phoebe (Φοίβη) (Phoíbē) were Dioscuri siblings.

These brothers were on the expedition of the Argonauts.

Castor and Pollux saved their sister Helen (Ἑλένη) (Helénē) of Troy.

Atlantis.

Atlantis (Ἀτλαντὶς νῆσος) (Atlantìs nêsos) means 'island of Atlas'. This place was called after the Titan (Τιτᾶνες) (Titán) Atlas (Ἄτλας) (Átlās).

Atlantis was a fictional island country. There are many different myths and legends about this island.

Scientists in different periods of history wrote about Atlantis. The ancient Greek philosopher Plato (Πλάτων) (Plátōn) was one of them.

Hello, dear readers! I'm Maria. I want to tell you about my young years. 

I grew up in orphanage. The state raised me. Also, I found my distant relative Timothy in a foster family.

Recipe of homemade pastry cream.

Ingredients:

Eggs-2

Milk-500 mL

Sugar-150 g

Butter-100 g

Flour-3 table spoons

Salt-1 pinch

Mix eggs, sugar, salt, and flour in one bowl. Boil them and add milk during several minutes. After add butter. And mix again.

You can add this cream to eclairs or other baked goods.

Oileus was wounded in the shoulder by Stymphalian Birds (Στυμφαλίδες ὄρνιθες) (Stymfalídes Órnithes).

Recipe of homemade dough for sweet pastry.

Ingredients:

Flour-800 g

Milk-200 g

Eggs-2

Sugar-100 g

Margarine-800 g

Sour cream-1 table spoon

Salt-half of tea spoon

Baking powder-1 tea spoon

Yeast-1 tea spoon


100 g of warm milk, sugar, flour, yeast, and salt mix in one bowl



Leave in warm place about 30 min. Consistency must be how thick cream. Mix 2 eggs.



Add to this mix baking powder. Remaining eggs, sugar, salt, margarine, sour cream, and make dough.

Leave dough in bowl about 3-4 hours.




Later mix your dough and cook pastry.
